Ingredients:
- 1 head romanesco, cut into florets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Black Sesame Tahini:
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp black sesame paste (or ground black sesame seeds)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Water to thin
Pickled Mustard Seeds:
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard seeds
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp sugar
- Pinch of turmeric (optional)
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
- Roast romanesco at high heat until charred but firm.
- Mix tahini, sesame, lemon juice, thin to drizzle consistency.
- Simmer mustard seeds in vinegar mix until plump (10 mins).
- Plate romanesco with tahini drizzle and pickled seeds.
